Here's a simple claw mount to attach two tubular pieces together in the same direction. The typical usage would be attaching a flashlight to a firearm barrel.

Thanks to wingnuts mounting and removing is easy and doesn't require tools, but the mount holds the flashlight securely in place. To make things low profile you can change the screws and nuts to the hardware of your choice.
